James L. Williams is one of Australia’s largest services contractors; having been established in 1875 it is Australia’s most experienced services contractors.

Since 1875 JLW has been involved in a significant number of commercial projects within Australia covering a wide range of buildings including commercial office towers, residential buildings, hospitals, data centres, airports, hotels, resorts, maximum security prisons and more. JLW is proud to have installed the first air-conditioned building in Australia and recently JLW achieved the highest LEED rating ever from amongst 44,000 buildings worldwide (2012, Pixel Building, Melbourne).

An array of Australian landmark projects include the Melbourne Convention Centre (which set the ESD building standard as the first 6 star Green-star building), Sydney’s No.1 Martin Place, Melbourne Airport and Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre. James L Williams' Australian presence is predominantly in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and recently South Australia. International branches include China and the Middle East.

The Middle East operation was started in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It has been established through a partnership with James L Williams Holding Australia by Michael Boufarhat (CEO of James L Williams Middle East) over four years ago when teaming up with Allen L Williams (Chairman of James L Williams Middle East, and M.D. of James L Williams Australia).

Today the operation continues an aggressive and steady expansion in the Middle East providing quality product to its clients. Currently JLW is expanding into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The JLW Middle East management team has (prior to launching operations in the UAE) successfully established the Middle East operations for two of Australia’s largest Engineering and contracting firms. This management team have been working together, successfully delivering projects and continually expanding the team for almost a decade.

In the short time that James L Williams Middle East has been found, it has completed the MEP works for the Dalma Mall project in Abu Dhabi, Nad Al Hamar Medical Centre in Dubai, Khalifa Park Office Development in Abu Dhabi, Al Quoz Shopping Centre in Sharjah, the FSU Facility for the Defence Force in the UAEs Minhad Airbase, Diera City Centre Refurbishment in Dubai. Currently JLW Middle East is working on a design and construct project “City of Lights” which is part of the Abu Dhabi Reem Island development, Life Line Hospital on their Burjeel Hospital project in Abu Dhabi, Standard Chartered Bank Middle East Headquarters tower in Dubai and Seaview Hotel a massive dual building hotel on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
